About the Drum Humidifier w. Drain
Our entry-level drum humidifier comes standard with a unique automatic drain unit to extend drum pad life by periodically flushing away suspended minerals from the water pan. This reduces maintenance requirements and lifetime operating costs.
Features and Benefits of the Drum Humidifier w. Drain
- AUTOMATIC DRAINING FEATURE
- When in use, the 1 RPM rotation of the drum triggers a brief, automatic drain cycle every eight minutes. The drain skims from the top of the water level removing any floating mineral debris. This partial purge reduces mineral accumulation in the water pan and drum pad, extending the useful life of the drum pad while assuring the supply water in the pan is regularly refreshed. This feature can be disabled for drain-less applications.

- Can be used with left or right side air intake when installed on cold-air return duct. Motor uses standard humidifier 24VAC power supply.

- Consumes only 5 Watts of power when in use.
