EPA Water Initiative - April 2004
In the summer of 2002, EPA (the United States Environmental Protection Agency) began to investigate ways to enhance the market for water-efficient products as a potential program to respond to the growing demands placed on America's water supplies and water infrastructure systems. They are planning specific steps towards advancing a national, voluntary, market-based program for promoting water-efficient products, beginning with a series of meetings of key stakeholders. The most recent stakeholder meeting took place in Seattle April 13-14, 2004. Present at that meeting was Desert Spring Products.
